Five presidential candidates took center stage in the gym as the Class of 2013 watched on. The candidates captivated their audience with promises of free donuts and cleaner bathrooms.
Candidate Lucy Gunter exclaimed, “I will get you free donuts.”
While candidate Shy Daraeikia would like to add Arnold Palmers to every vending machine.
Others went with a more modest approach. “I’m not going to change the cafeteria food or clean the bathrooms because that’s way out of my power,” added candidate Matt Shumway.
Candidate Laura Roman joked about the long process of listening to each and every generic speech. “Hello I am (fill in name here) and I am running for (fill in position here). I am qualified for his position because. . . and so on.”
The president must be able to coordinate all class events and be able to devote loads of time into bringing his or her class together.
“I also plan to unite our class through a cause, maybe walk for cancer or raise money for Romanian orphans,” said candidate Audrey Voorhees.
Each student made promises if you vote for them and here they are.
