Headed by Coach Michelle Colville, the Langley High School girl’s junior varsity lacrosse team had yet another very successful season. Three hour practices for six days a week allowed them time to develop chemistry and grow as a team. “We practice hard every day and it really pays off during the games,” said sophomore captain Sam Smith. One of the reasons the team was so successful was due to their abundance of talent. Out of 16 players on the team, thirteen scored goals throughout the season. “We have a lot of talented players and throughout this season all of our players have made individual improvements in the areas that we work on in practice,” said Coach Colville. “It took us a while to click as a team on the field, but once we did, we were able to play really well together.”
