Hard work and dedication have made the junior varsity boys soccer team learn to work together, and it shows when they’re on the field. Capturing another winning record, the Saxons have established their presence as one of the top JV teams in the district. “One of the hardest aspects of high school sports is combining players who have never played together and getting them to function as a unit, or a team,” Coach Betsy Jones said. However, most of the team already knew each other very well, as nine players on the team also play club soccer together. “We have great chemistry as a team, we all pass well and some of us know how to bend it like Beckham,” freshman Jamie Terpak said.
