Finally, after multiple delays, the annual Club Day kicked off during all four lunch periods on Oct. 5. A total of 48 clubs set up tables in the courtyard; they used a variety of techniques to persuade students to sign up, from free candy to bright signs to snow cones.
Club Day is traditionally the day when clubs hope to recruit as many new members as possible.
“Our goal is to have a bigger, more involved and dedicated team to practice every week,” said Forensics team captain Samantha Kobor.
“We want to do more walks and fundraisers, especially for M.S. foundation. Our issues affect the community of McLean,” added Rotary Club officer Nicole Zaccack.
