Tryouts were recently held for the annual One Act Plays. This year there are seven plays, all student written and directed. Each play is about half an hour long.
For tryouts, no preparation was needed but for many students it was nerve-wracking. “In my try out experience I was really nervous and it felt really awkward. The spotlight was on me the entire time and I couldn’t see who was watching me. Afterwards, I was relieved that it was over,” said junior Maggie Giordano. The directors and Ms. Jaffe made their choices directly after the tryouts. The one act plays will be Apr. 1 and 2 – be sure to check them out.
