Langley Field Hockey will advance to the State Semifinals in Virginia Beach next week after a runner-up finish at regionals on Thursday. After a 1-0 victory over Madison on Tuesday to advance to the Regional finals for the first time in Coach Jennifer Robb’s career, Langley fell 1-0 to Fairfax for the second time in the playoffs (once in Conferences and once in Regionals).  However, the Saxons, led by captains Jackie Kotoriy and Sara Scherping, will still travel to Virginia Beach next week to compete for the State championship.
