The Saxon Scope

Hi I am Taylor Snyder and I am a 3rd year staff writer for the Saxon Scope,

In My 3rd year with the scope I have had a lot of fun and I’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work for an awesome news organization, learn and work from the best, and even have had the opportunity to travel to Journalism Conventions. I have been able to get a full experience for how a news company runs and I’ve been able to put together and edit my own stories and learn how to design lay outs and edit photographs and really grow and become stronger as a journalist and as a writer. Journalism is a passion that I’ve had from a young age and is something that I would definitely like to do in college and out of college. Besides Journalism, outside of the classroom my three hobbies include Baseball, Music, and Surfing. In college I hope to either study Broadcast/Journalism or Communications at Boston University, Syracuse, Northeastern, or San Diego State and I hope one day to pursue a career in the journalism field. I’m excited to bring the Langley community news again for another great year and I can’t wait to see what 2014-2015 has in store.
