Hi I’m Lindsey! I’m a freshman at Langley, making it my first year in journalism and I am really excited to work on the Saxon Scope! I took this class because I have always loved writing and knew it would be a fun way to express that. I also really enjoy taking pictures and playing with photo shop, both things that will positively affect me in journalism.  Outside of school I swim and play soccer every day. I am a huge Capitals, UVA, and US Women’s National Soccer Team fan. I am also an admitted YouTube addict and spend more time than I should on the internet. I am the queen of random facts and quoting songs, making me a huge believer in going with the randomness of life. I think I can take my passion and quirkiness and apply it to my writing, making me a very fun journalist. I’m really looking forward to spending my next four years on the staff!
