I think that the New York Knicks should win the entire championship, because they are the most awesome squad I have ever seen on TV. I think Jalen Brunson is an awesome player who can make a lot of three pointers. He is special to see on the courts, and he was averaging 2.7 three pointers per game this year. There are some good teams that could win another championship this year. For example, the Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks last year, and Jalen Brown was named the MVP in the 2023-2024 NBA Finals. The Oklahoma City Thunder could win a championship as well because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was named MVP and his average stats were 32.7 points per game, 34.2 minutes per game, and 51.9% field goals made.

My story is about the NBA Playoffs and which teams should go to the finals on June 5, 2025. I think that the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder should face each other in the finals because I like Tyrese Haliburton because he can shoot a lot of three pointers. 

Phillip Clark is a librarian at Langley High School. Even though Clark likes the playoffs, he follows the Eastern Conference more than Western Conference playoffs. 

“My guess [to win the championship] would be Oklahoma City. But if you’re asking me who I think should win the championship, I’m going to argue for the Minnesota Timberwolves,” Clark said. 

I think that Oklahoma City can beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 7 during the playoffs, because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a lot of three pointers, rebounds, and assists but no blocks in Game 1 against the Timberwolves. He is averaging 30.6 points per game against the Timberwolves in their first three games in the series. 

“I think that the Thunder will win because Shai’s free throw baiting will carry him through the playoffs,” Clark said.

I think the Oklahoma City Thunder could win the championship because all of the players are good and fantastic that they make plays during the playoffs such as Chet Holmgren, who is a good player who can defend and can block, get some rebounds, and also he can dunk and get lay-ups. Anthony Edwards got a lot of three pointers, got rebounds, and he has a lot of good stats during the playoffs and regular season.

“I think there’s an argument to be made that the [Timberwolves] will have the two best players in the series in [Julius] Randle and Anthony Edwards,” Clark said.

Anthony Edwards is a good player on the Minnesota Timberwolves who can rebound and get the ball to pass to his teammates. Also, he has done some good dunks during the games in the NBA. Tyrese Haliburton had 4-12 three pointers, 4 rebounds, and 11 assists against the New York Knicks in Game 1, but lost in the 2024 playoffs. Also, Jalen Brunson is an awesome player to watch during the playoffs. 

“Jalen Brunson is having a great postseason, but I hate how he plays the game,” English teacher Daniel Jevne said. 

The Indiana Pacers should do better in Game 4 in New York City, coming up. Pascal Siakam scored 17 points during Game 3 against the New York Knicks. He had 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in Game 3 on May 25. I think the Indiana Pacers should win Game 4 against the New York Knicks. I think the Thunder can win the entire NBA championship playoffs this year.
