Hi my name is Shannon Murray. I am fourteen years old and a freshman at Langley. I have an older sister who is a junior at Langley. I went to Cooper Middle School, and before that I went to Forestville Elementary. I move around a lot so I have attended a lot of schools around the country. This is my first year taking Journalism and I am so excited. I am looking forward to learning new things and meeting new people. English is my favorite class because I get the chance to write, and read very interesting books. Writing is also a way to express your opinions. I play on the freshmen volleyball team as an outside hitter. I love to read books. I especially like teen romance novels. I love to listen to country music as well as indie pop. In my spare time, I like to play other sports like basketball and softball. I also love watching comedy movies and I like going to the movie theater with my friends. I love going to the beach with my friends and family, especially the Outer Banks and Bethany Beach. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year at Langley.
