My name is Kellie Schroeder and I’m a freshman this year at Langley. I was born in Arlington county Virginia, but I’ve lived in Mclean my whole life. I have two siblings, a brother who is a freshman in college at Radford University and an older sister who is a senior in high school. Over the summer I went to New York City with my best friend for the first time for three days. While I was in New York I went to Madame Tussads in Times Square, and I also saw my first Broadway show which was called Let It be and it was about the Beatles. My favorite part of my whole trip was going shopping in all the huge shops, the forever 21 in times square has a taxi on the fourth floor of the shop which I thought was pretty amazing. Another amazing experience I had over the summer was going to one direction’s takes me home tour in June, which was probably the highlight of my summer. This year I’m playing basketball and volleyball which are my two favorite sports. My favorite football team is the New York Giants. My favorite subject in school is English because I love writing and speaking my opinion. I’m excited to take journalism this year!!
