Joel Embiid has trusted the process which allowed him to have such a great start to his season

Only a couple of games into the season and we are starting to see which teams are coming out ahead of the pack. But the question being asked now is who the best rookie is? Joel Embiid has really been ahead of everyone leading in scoring with 17.0 points a game and 7.6 rebounds a game. Technically Joel Embiid is a rookie since he missed the past two seasons with an injury. Other notable rookies are Buddy Hield with 9.6 ppg, Jamal Murray 7.2ppg and Kris Dunn with 3.5 assists per game. One problem for Embiid though is that his team is not doing well at all far below .500 winning percentage so it seems his impact is not felt “The 76ers are not doing well at all and even though Joel is such a good player they still aren’t winning” says Junior Colter Carton. Senior Danny Hosley’s favorite rookie is Jaylen Brown because of his ties to Boston teams, Jaylen plays for the Boston Celtics “I don’t think Jaylen is having to bad of a season he was really good in college so he has a bright future ahead of him”. One disappointing note for rookies this year is the injury to the first pick overall Ben Simmons. Simmons had seemingly a huge season ahead of him but was sidetracked by an injury that has put his season in jeopardy. ESPN writer Marc Stein regards the injury as “Simmons’ setback is the latest blow for a franchise that has been forced to wait for its first glimpse of numerous recent draftees”. Also referring to Joel who also plays for the 76ers. Many people consider Joel the front-runner but with a long season with many injuries anything can happen.
