Neeka Eghbali –– Copy Editor

Hey everyone! My name is Neeka Eghbali, and I’m a J1. I’m so excited to finally be a part of the Scope Staff! I’ve always had a passion for writing and recording the latest events ever since I was 5 years old. This prompted me to join journalism in middle school and continue throughout high school. In 8^th grade, I was an Editor in Chief of the Hawkeye. That year, we decided to change from a newspaper format to a more modern news magazine. When I’m not so busy obsessing over journalism, I enjoy reading, creative writing, and singing. I love scoping out the most interesting and captivating stories in the hustle and bustle of our daily high school lives and hope to become editor in chief of the Saxon Scope as a senior. I also aspire to become an editor of a major fashion magazine one day. I can’t wait for yet another exciting year in journalism. Bring on the j-love!
