La vie en rose: orchestra concert blends music and French culture

Held on Dec. 14 in the auditorium, the winter orchestra concert’s theme was “La vie en rose” and strove to feature all three sections of the Langley orchestra (freshman, philharmonic, and symphonic) as well as students and faculty from the French department. French students served as emcees, and French teachers Mme Houde and Mme Weiser recited poetry. Another highlight of the night was an appearance from a mime in between acts.
